-The outdoor track season is just around the corner! The team has maintained high attendance numbers throughout the winter and put themselves in a great spot heading into our next official season. All athletes that are not currently participating in a winter sport are highly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to train with their teammates.
-We're in need of athletes to volunteer for this year's Sweetheart dances Friday, February 28th and Saturday, March 1st. This is an excellent way to give back to the community at a popular family event. Here's the Sign Up Genius link.
-Running Lab will be holding their Track and Field Expo on Sunday, March 9th. "This event is all about helping athletes start the season strong with expert fittings, top-tier gear, and exclusive discounts." Support a local business while also getting a much needed new pair of trainers or spikes. Win win win!
-BHS T&F will be hosting four meets this season. The program needs volunteers in the field events and concessions to run a smooth meet that can be enjoyed by all. These volunteer opportunities are a great way for families and alumni to give back to the program. A sign up genius will be posted soon.
-The Tentative Summer Calendar is updated. Please note the Dead Week dates shared in the previous off-season updates was off by a day. Dead Week is June 29th through July 5th.
-This fall we'll be adding a very competitive out of state meet to our schedule. Our top 10ish athletes will be traveling to Illinios to compete in the Richard Spring Invite at Detweiler Park (IHSA State XC Championship course). The meet is held the same weekend as the Mott Fall Classic.
